Lancaster, CA (April 22, 2023) On Thursday evening, a traffic collision on Lancaster Boulevard trapped a driver inside a vehicle.

Deputies say that the hit-and-run crash happened around 8:50 p.m. at the intersection with 5th Street.

Officials say that a driver was trapped inside a vehicle after a collision with a white truck with a camper top. The truck fled the scene after the collision.

Rescuers used extraction tools to help free the driver out of the vehicle, however, the driver declined medical transport and was instead taken to a hospital by private vehicle.
