Camp Verde, AZ (October 20, 2023) On Thursday morning, DPS reports at least 1 person died in a traffic collision on Interstate 17 near milepost 293.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the fatal accident happened around 8:30 a.m. near McGuireville Road.

Reports say that at least one person was declared deceased at the scene, while additional information are not available at this time.

Officials say that a car and semi-truck were involved in the deadly collision.
