WSP Investigates Suspected DUI Crash on Highway 20
Concrete, WA (October 25, 2023) On Sunday evening, 3 people were hospitalized after a traffic collision on Highway 20 near Rockport.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the suspected DUI crash happened at about 8 p.m. in a construction zone on Highway 20.
Reports say that a car heading through the construction zone collided with a jersey barrier, then another vehicle headed the opposite way struck the 1st vehicle.
Officials say that 2 passengers from the 1st car were transported to Harborview Medical Center. Meanwhile, the driver, identified as a 51-year-old Concrete man was hurt and was taken to United General Hospital.
WSP says that the driver is suspected to be driving impaired at the time of the crash, fortunately, all 3 occupants of the 2nd vehicle escaped injuries, but were taken to United as a precaution.
