Horrific Traffic Collision on Fairmount Avenue Injures 53-Year-Old Man [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA (August 25, 2024) On Friday evening, a 53-year-old man was hurt and hospitalized after a disastrous traffic collision on Fairmount Avenue.

According to San Diego Police, the 2-vehicle crash happened at about 11:23 p.m. on the 4800 block of Fairmount Avenue.

Reports say that the man was driving a 2008 Lincoln Town Car when he lost control of his vehicle and struck the embankment on the west side of the road, then a 2005 Acura, driven by a 24-year-old woman, struck the side of the Lincoln.

Officials say that the male driver sustained a brain bleed and was rushed to a hospital in an unknown condition.

Authorities are investigating the 2-vehicle crash and have not released additional information at this time.
