Phoenix, AZ (November 19, 2023) On Thursday midnight, 2 people were hurt after their SUV crashed into a trailer in a disastrous traffic accident on Interstate 10.

According to DPS, the SUV-trailer accident happened around 12:13 a.m. on the middle lanes of westbound I-10 near 27th Avenue.

Reports say that a trailer fell off from a large truck as it drove westbound and was blocking the middle lanes of westbound I-10, causing multiple vehicles to swerve to avoid the trailer.

At around 12:13 a.m. a black SUV collided with the errant trailer at highway speed. Officials say that the SUV had 2 occupants, an adult male and an adult female, who sustained minor injuries and declined medical transport.

Officials are investigating the SUV-trailer accident and have not released further information at this time.
