Adelanto, CA (August 26, 2023) On Thursday morning, a horrific traffic accident on Highway 395 sent a driver to the hospital.

According to Victor Valley Sheriff‘s officials, the 2-vehicle collision happened at about 5:15 a.m. at Air Expressway.

Reports say that a northbound 2024 Peterbilt semi-truck and trailer with a load of cattle, ran a red light and collided with a westbound Honda pickup truck on Air Expressway.

Officials say that the big rig hit the driver’s side of the Honda, the impact of the crash sent the Honda off the road onto the dirt shoulder on the southbound side of Highway 395.

Meanwhile, the big rig ended up blocking the southbound lanes, the semi-truck driver escaped injuries and no cattle were killed.

Authorities say that the Honda driver suffered injuries and was airlifted to a hospital.

Deputies are investigating the 2-vehicle collision.
