Long Beach, CA (November 10, 2023) On Thursday afternoon, a massive traffic accident on California Avenue left people hurt and hospitalized.
According to the LBPD, the traffic collision happened in the area of California Avenue and South Street.
Reports say that a bus collided with a sedan and crashed into a building in Long Beach.
Officials say that at least 5 people were transported to a medical facility and around 9 people suffered minor injuries.
Authorities say that the bus hit the side of the sedan, who was reported traveling at high speed, then both the bus and sedan plowed through The Bougie Crab restaurant.
Afterward, the sedan caught fire immediately after the crash.
Police are investigating the car-bus-building collision and have not released additional information at this time.
