Motorcycle Deputy Injured in 11th Street Crash
Tracy, CA (July 31, 2021) – On Friday, a Tracy Police Department officer was injured in 11th Street motorcycle crash.
The accident took place at in the morning at the Lincoln Boulevard intersection.
The officer was on a motorcycle, northbound on Lincoln Boulevard.
Apparently, the officer was about to turn onto 12th Street, when an eastbound driver ran the stop sign and struck the officer.
Afterwards, the involved driver allegedly drove southbound on Lincoln Boulevard and struck a tree.
Responding officers took the suspect into custody.
Meanwhile, rescuers took the injured officer to a local hospital to be treated for non-fatal injuries.
Investigating officers are still working on the crash.
