According to police reports, the collision happened on Tuesday afternoon around 2:00 PM on Pine Street and First Avenue.

Lyon was crossing east on Pine to First when a pickup truck, driven by an 86-year-old man, turned left and hit her near the crosswalk. Todd Lyon, the victim’s husband, was with her at the time of the collision. Bystanders heard him shouting her name as she was lying on the ground unconscious.
