Tori Ann Haywood and Justin Leath Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident in Palmdale

 
Palmdale, CA (July 2, 2020) – Tori Ann Haywood and Justin Leath have been ID’d as the fatalities in a multi-vehicle crash on Palmdale Boulevard.
 
Moreover, the crash was reported at 6:25 p.m. on July 2. The aftermath of the accident left two people, who were on different vehicles, dead at the scene, while medics sent five wounded to a hospital.
 
Later that week, the authorities disclosed the identities of the deceased as 20-year-old Justin Leath from Palmdale, and 42-year-old Tori Ann Haywood.
 
The Palmdale resident drove a 2014 Hyundai in the accident. His passenger, 20-year-old M.N. Ankenbrandt of Lancaster, sustained major injuries. As a result, responders transported her to the hospital.
 
The Smithville, Tennessee resident Ms. Haywood drove a 2020 Toyota at the time of the crash.
 
Moreover, one of the passengers in the Toyota, 18-year-old Tyjhai Ladet also of Smithville, sustained major injuries.
 
Furthermore, three other passengers in the Toyota — Sierra Ladet, Tyzjon Ladet, and Tre Lamar Ladet, all 18 years old and from Smithville, sustained moderate injuries.
 
Subsequently, medics transported them to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.
 
A further investigation to determine the cause of this crash is ongoing.
