1 Person Killed in Poplar Bluff Pedestrian Accident on Highway B
POPLAR BLUFF, MO (October 31, 2024) – Tuesday morning, Topanga Thompson died in a horrific pedestrian crash on Highway B.
The incident happened at around 5:55 a.m. on Highway B.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a westbound 2024 Nissan Altima veered off the road, struck a pedestrian, and struck a tree.
Moreover, a Butler County EMS paramedic pronounced the pedestrian, identified as 27-year-old Thompson, dead at the scene. Also, paramedics transported the 43-year-old driver of the vehicle to a hospital with moderate injuries.
