Two Hospitalized after Head-On Crash on Highway 29 in Calistoga
Calistoga, CA (April 18, 2022) – Saturday morning, 43-year-old Tonya Taylor of Clearlake and 43-year-old Melissa Kelch of Bodega sustained injuries in a head-on crash on Highway 29.
The head-on crash in Calistoga happened at around 11:55 a.m. on April 16.
CHP said Taylor entered a wet curve north of Old Lawley Toll Road and then crossed the center line into a path of a northbound 2010 Lexus RX350 driven by Kelch.
American Medical Response ambulances took both drivers to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
Taylor sustained major injuries while Kelch suffered minor injuries.
Further investigation to determine the circumstances of the crash is underway.
