Tony Leon Jr Dies in 90th Street West Motorcycle Crash [Lancaster, CA]

Lancaster, CA (August 26, 2021) – On Tuesday, 31-year-old Tony Jesus Leon Jr. of Lancaster, lost his life in a motorcycle crash on 90th Street West.

The fatal crash took place at about 3:13 p.m. at Avenue F-4.

Officers said Leon was southbound in a 2014 Suzuki GSX-R on 90th Street West when he drove into the opposite traffic lane to pass an uninvolved vehicle on the left.

However, when he drove back into the southbound lane of 90th Street West, his motorcycle collided into the right side of a 2020 Chevrolet. Officers said the Chevrolet had just turned left onto Avenue F-4 from northbound 90th Street West.

The authorities pronounced Leon dead at the scene. 

On the other hand, the Chevrolet’s driver, a 68-year-old Encino man, did not suffer injuries in the crash. 

The two passengers in the Chevrolet, a 55-year-old woman and a 61-year-old man, both from Van Nuys, suffered minor injuries. Rescuers rushed them to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the officers are investigating if alcohol and drugs were involved in the accident.
