1 Injured in Otay Mesa Collision on Highway 905
OTAY MESA, CA (September 23, 2019) – A toddler suffered injuries in a crash involving a US Border Patrol vehicle in an accident on Highway 905.
The car collision occurred around 5:00 p.m. on the westbound Highway 905, west of Caliente Road on September 19.
Reports revealed that the incident took place after agents attempted to pull over a car whose driver failed to yield. After that, the car then crashed into a Border Patrol SUV and another vehicle.
Responders transported a toddler from one of the cars to Rady Children’s Hospital. However, it’s still unclear whether there are others injured in the crash.
Meanwhile, the authorities closed all but one of the westbound lanes in the area during the investigation and cleanup.
