Toby Hayes and Female Driver Hurt in Head-On Collision on Highway 395 [Spokane County, WA]

Spokane County, WA (February 14, 2024) On Monday morning, 23-year-old Toby Hayes and a female driver were hurt and hospitalized after a 2-vehicle head-on collision on Highway 395.

According to the WSP, the 2-vehicle accident happened south of Deer Park around 8 a.m.

Reports say that Hayes was driving northbound on Highway 395 too fast for the conditions when he lost control of his vehicle and crossed the center median, then collided with another vehicle head-on.

Authorities say that Hayes and the other driver were taken to the hospital. Both vehicles involved were wrecked.

Officials cited Hayes due to the 2-vehicle accident.

WSP is investigating the 2-vehicle collision and has not released additional information at this time.
