Tobie Lee Fares Dies after Crash on Speedway Boulevard in Tucson
Tucson, AZ (December 3, 2022) – Friday night, 61-year-old Tobie Lee Fares died in a crash in the 5100 block of East Speedway Boulevard.
The fatal crash in Tucson happened around 9:45 p.m. on December 2.
TPD said Fares were crossing Speedway Boulevard in a north-to-south direction. While crossing, she was struck by a blue 2018 Nissan Sentra.
EMS transported her to St. Joseph’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries. She later died.
Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
Investigators said the driver showed no signs of impairment.
No citations have been issued at this time.
