Highland, CA (July 23, 2022) On Friday morning, a 45-year-old Highland man on a skateboard was fatally struck by a vehicle in the Tippecanoe Avenue Hit-and-Run Accident.

The SBC Sheriff’s Department says that the fatal pedestrian collision happened around 12:48 a.m. on East 3rd Street East.

Reports say that the hit-and-run driver is still at large. Furthermore, authorities are searching for the suspect and the vehicle involved.

Moreover, officials say that a westbound car struck the man riding a skateboard, and fled the scene after the crash.

Responding officers found the unresponsive Highland man lying on the road. Authorities have not released his identification.
