Tionte Eddings of Riverside Dies in Vehicle Collision on Sycamore Canyon Boulevard [Riverside, CA]

Riverside, CA (November 14, 2024) – 28-year-old Tionte Eddings of Riverside was killed in a solo-vehicle collision on Sycamore Canyon Boulevard Tuesday evening.

It was minutes past 6 p.m. when the fatal collision happened south of Cottonwood Avenue, in the warehousing district adjacent to Interstate 215.

According to the authorities, Eddings was in the front passenger seat of a 2017 Nissan 370Z being driven by a 29-year-old Moreno Valley man.

The Moreno Valley man was speeding south when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree.

Riverside Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and freed Tionte Eddings and the driver from being trapped in the wreckage. 

Eddings was rushed to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley where he succumbed to his injuries less than an hour later.

The driver sustained minor injuries.

In the meantime, the authorities are investigating if drugs or alcohol were involved in the collision.
