16-Year-Old Boy in Avondale Involved in Colorado River Boat Crash
Bullhead City, AZ (July 6, 2021 ) – Sunday, a 33-year-old Timothy Randall David Lee of California died when a personal watercraft carrying two teenage boys crashed into his boat on the Colorado River.
Bullhead City Police said the victim was sitting on the back of the boat’s swim deck when the wreck occurred. Lee sustained fatal injuries.
As a result, the personal watercraft’s operator, a 16-year-old boy from Avondale, Arizona, was cited for failure to use due caution to avoid a collision and rental contract violation.
Investigators sent a report to the Mohave County Attorney’s Office for consideration of possible additional charges.
