Harding Road Fatal Collision Injures Valerie Torres

Stanislaus County, CA (July 07, 2022) – On Wednesday, Timo Martinelli, 21, of Ceres, died while Valerie Torres, 34, of Newman, sustained injuries in a Crows Landing Road head-on collision.

The fatal crash happened at about 4:25 p.m. at the intersection with Harding Road.

According to the investigators, Martinelli was driving a 2003 Honda and Torres was driving a 2019 Honda.

When the authorities arrived at the scene, they located the two sedans with major front-end damage. However, it was not immediately identified which direction each vehicle was traveling when the accident happened.

The 2019 Honda rested straddling the northbound and southbound lanes while the 2003 Honda rested on the east edge of the road. Both of them were facing the northeasterly direction.

Sadly, Timo Martinelli lost his life at the scene while an ambulance rushed Valerie Torres to the Doctors Medical Center. Investigators Martinelli was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the collision.

In the meantime, officers have not yet identified if drugs or alcohol played a role in the Crows Landing Road head-on collision.
