Tigist Abay Fatally Struck in Everett Crash
Everett, WA (October 14, 2021) – On October 7, 50-year-old Tigist Abay of Everett, died in a pedestrian accident on 128th Street Southwest.
The fatal crash took place on October 5, around 6:30 a.m. Oct. 5 near the 1000 block area, wherein multiple cars were also involved.
Investigating officers said Abay was on her way to work when the accident happened.
Paramedics rushed her to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, where she died.
Moreover, Abay was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She immigrated in 2001 to the United States with her husband and two children.
Reports said that Abay recently became a licensed practical nurse and works to becoming a registered nurse.
Meanwhile, the authorities are still investigating Abay’s cause and manner of death.
