Passenger Killed and Driver Critically Injured in Solo-Car Crash near Venetian Way

MORGAN HILL, CA (November 9, 2018) – A woman was killed Friday afternoon following a solo-vehicle crash near Venetian Way. The victim was later identified as 26-year-old Tiffany Ulanimo, a resident of Gilroy.

As per reports, the incident occurred at approximately 3:45 PM. Preliminary investigation showed that a vehicle was heading east on Watsonville Road when it drifted across the westbound lanes of the road and slammed into a tree.

Ulanimo was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival. Meanwhile, the 20-year-old man driving the vehicle was also hospitalized in critical condition. Further updates on his current medical condition were not immediately provided.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fatal crash and to identify possible contributing factors. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to call Cpl.
