Kids Injured in Porterville Hit-and-Run DUI Crash
Porterville, CA (March 13, 2022) – On Wednesday, the authorities arrested 29-year-old Tiffany Renee Davila of Porterville in a DUI hit-and-run crash in Porterville.
The authorities responded to the crash scene at about 6:58 p.m. after receiving reports that a Ford collided with a parked vehicle. Apparently, the Ford fled the scene with three children as passengers.
The officers were able to locate the vehicle. When they arrived at the address, they found three children, two of them below eight years old. Investigators say the children appeared to be involved in a traffic accident.
After thorough investigation, the officers found multiple open alcoholic containers inside the vehicle. They also said that it did not have child safety seats.
The authorities took the children to the hospital, one of them sustained a concussion.
Moreover, the officers arrested Davila for showing signs of being intoxicated.
They booked her with charges of driving under the influence; driving under the influence and causing injury; child endangerment; and hit-and-run with injury.
