San Jose Resident Tien Nguyen Killed in Hostetter Road Collision [San Jose, CA]

San Jose, CA (August 24, 2024) –  Tien Nguyen, 30, of San Jose, was killed in a Hostetter Road collision Thursday night.

The San Jose Police Department received the crash report around 8:50 p.m. on Automation Parkway.

Investigators determined a man driving a 2005 Toyota pickup truck westbound on Hostetter Road had struck a pedestrian in the roadway outside of a crosswalk.

The pedestrian, Tien Nguyen, was transported to a local hospital, where he died.
