Three-Vehicle Crash on North 110 Freeway Leads to Additional Collision, Injuring Two People [South Los Angeles, CA]

2 People Hospitalized After Crash on North 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles

South Los Angeles, CA (September 19, 2024) – Sunday night, two people sustained injuries in a three-vehicle crash on North 110 Freeway.

The initial collision involved two cars and an SUV in the HOV and fast lanes.

While waiting for assistance from CHP and the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), a fourth vehicle crashed into the back of a white Range Rover involved in the initial accident. 

The force of the impact trapped the driver of the fourth vehicle and caused further injuries to a female passenger in the white SUV.

The fourth vehicle began smoking heavily after the crash, but fortunately, it did not catch fire. Emergency responders arrived quickly, and two people were transported to a local hospital for treatment: the driver of the fourth vehicle and the female passenger from the SUV.

CHP is currently investigating the incident, and no signs of DUI have been reported at this time.
