Speeding Car Triggers 3-Vehicle Crash on Crosby Boulevard SW in Tumwater
TUMWATER, WA (August 15, 2019) – Three people were trapped after a speeding car triggered a three-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Tumwater.
The crash happened around 7:39 a.m. at the intersection of Crosby Boulevard SW and Mottman Road SW.
Tumwater police and firefighters responded to the scene and found three people trapped inside their vehicles. They worked on the extrication and gave aid to the victims.
Paramedics then transported the patients to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
A preliminary investigation found that a red car traveling at high speed plowed into a Capital Electric work truck, causing it to flip over and crash into a white SUV, officials said.
Tumwater police are still investigating the crash to determine liability.
