3 Detained after Sacramento Car Accident
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 18, 2018) – Three suspects are arrested after starting a high-speed police chase which also led to a manhunt on December 16.
The incident occurred early morning in Natomas and the authorities came to respond to a noise call from a house party. According to witnesses, a man was seen shooting in the neighborhood, hitting cars and homes. The three suspects then fled in a vehicle. When the suspects lost control of there vehicle and collided with a fence in a nearby park, skid marks were left.
There were two suspects arrested while the other was found through a police manhunt. The authorities searched for the third suspect, who was reported to be armed and dangers. Evacuations were ordered in the area before proceeding into “a lengthy and systematic search.”
After multiple hours of searching, SWAT, police officers, and sheriff’s deputies entered a backyard and the police K-9 instantly went to a woodpile where the suspect was located under a tarp.
Bystanders were not hurt and the identities of the suspects have not been released as of this time.
