People Injured in Deadly Crash on SR 99
Sutter County, CA (September 29, 2024) – Three people have lost their lives following a vehicle crash on State Route 99 Saturday.
The deadly crash happened near State Route 113 and Tudor Road.
Investigators said a Nissan Sentra was northbound while a Dodge Challenger was southbound at a high rate of speed.
CHP officers said the Dodge crossed over into the solid double yellow lines and collided head-onto with the Nissan.
Unfortunately, the two people riding the Nissan died and the Dodge driver was killed in the collision.
Three other occupants in the Dodge were transported to an area hospital while another was picked up by a relative.
Investigators determined alcohol played a role in the fatal crash on SR 99.
Our deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones of the three deceased. We hope for justice and healing as they navigate through this heartbreaking loss.
