Three Suffered Fatal Injuries after Bakersfield Fiery Collision on Highway 99
BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 4, 2019) – A fiery collision on Highway 99 killed two adults and a child on Monday, September 2.
According to CHP, at about 1:25 a.m. a Saturn sedan moving southbound on Highway 99 took an off-ramp on to Kimberlina Road.
For undetermined reasons, the vehicle lost control, crashed into a tree and then caught on fire.
The Kern County Fire Department rushed to the area to put out the car fire.
A male adult driver, female adult passenger, and male child passenger died as a result of the incident.
CHP reports said that due to the severe damage from the crash and fire, the people inside that vehicle have not yet been positively identified. Their identities will be available at a later time.
