Three Injured in Vehicle Crash on Don Avenue [Washington, MO]

Washington, MO (August 24, 2024) – Three people have been transported to a hospital following a vehicle crash on Don Avenue Thursday.

The authorities immediately responded to the crash scene in the 900 block area.

Investigating officers said a 66-year-old female driver pulled into a parking space in front of a building. However, while she was parking the vehicle, the vehicle accelerated and crashed through the front windows of the business.

The woman has she lost control of the vehicle and the driver believed the gas pedal got stuck and that she could not stop the vehicle.

The three people inside the business were taken to Mercy Hospital with injuries ranging from minor to serious.

WSP officers are investigating this collision.
