People Hurt in Vehicle Crash on Highway 33
Ventura, CA (November 8, 2020) – On Friday, three people were hurt in a vehicle crash on Highway 33.
The crash took place at around 12:42 p.m. near West Stanely Avenue on the southbound side of the freeway.
Firefighters said they located a small vehicle with major front end damage. Also, they found three passengers inside it.
Apparently, the vehicle crashed into a dirt embankment off the right-hand side of the road.
Immediately, rescuers provided medical treatment to the victims at the scene prior to transporting two of them to a local trauma center for minor injuries. One of them sustained moderate injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
Meanwhile, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
The Ventura City Fire Department would like to remind everyone that seatbelts save lives.
Scan the road 1/2 mile to a full mile ahead in order to look out and recognize potential hazards in time. Our bodies weren’t designed to travel at 50mph. We were designed for speeds of less than 10mph. Thus, you need to learn to consciously break that natural instinct and focus farther ahead.
