Paremedics Airlift One in Malibu Multi-Vehicle Collision
Malibu, CA (March 19, 2022) – On Friday, three people sustained injuries in a Pacific Coast Highway three-vehicle crash.
The collision happened at about 5:15 p.m. at Deer Creek Road near South Coast.
Immediately, the paramedics took two patients by ground ambulance to a hospital, while the third patient was airlifted to the hospital.
Officers are investigating the Malibu multi-vehicle collision.
When driving, scan the road a full mile ahead in order to look out or recognize potential hazards in time.
Aim high in steering, i.e. don’t make your steering adjustments based on what is directly in front of you, but rather what is down the road.
If the road is winding to the right, for example, look as far into the turn as possible. This will improve your safety and make your turns smoother.
Injuries in While Traveling
California’s road accident rate continues to increase, rather than decrease, despite the additional safety features on newer vehicle models.
The increasing crash rate reflects that auto accidents are a major public health threat. They are a leading cause of death for individuals ages 5-64.
According to the NHTSA, two out of three motorists will be involved in an injury accident during their life.
That is why it is important to know what to do if you incur injuries in a crash like the Pacific Coast Highway three-vehicle crash.
