Major Injuries Sustained in Afternoon 2-Car Crash in Palermo
PALERMO, CA (May 27, 2019) – Three people were injured following a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Palermo.
The crash happened just before 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of Lone Tree Road and Palermo Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a car failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a flat bed truck. Both vehicles veered off the roadway and ended up into a ditch on the shoulder.
Three occupants, including a juvenile that was not wearing a seat belt, were injured in the crash. All were hospitalized, at least one of them suffered major injuries.
It is unknown if charges has been filed and liability has not yet been determined. The incident remains under investigation.
