Speeding Leads to Major Collision near Oak Knoll Avenue
NAPA, CA (March 12, 2019) – Three people were injured in a car crash on Solano Avenue near the intersection of Oak Knoll Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 3:31 PM, near the intersection of Oak Knoll Avenue. Based on an initial report, two vehicles were involved in the incident. The parties were identified as a gray Porsche and a white vehicle. Speeding was considered by the authorities as a factor in the accident.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They confirmed that two people suffered minor injuries, while one person had to be extricated with major injuries.
Both roads were closed while rescue, clearing and cleaning operations took place in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
