DUI Motorist Involved in Multiple Collisions near Cesar Chavez Street
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 18, 2019) – The authorities responded to three accidents that occurred on southbound Highway 101, Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 3:14 AM, just north of Cesar Chavez Street. Based on their report, the two incidents involved one car each, while two vehicles were involved in the third case. The assessment showed that one of the drivers had been drinking prior to the accidents.
The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They confirmed that no injury or complaint of pain from the involved motorists was recorded.
The amount of damages sustained by the vehicles were still being assessed. It was not clear if the incidents were related to each other. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the commotions.
