2 People Hurt in Hayti Auto Accident on County Highway 322
HAYTI, MO (August 12, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, Thomas Odom and Maria Plunk sustained injuries in a single-vehicle crash on County Highway 322.
The incident happened at around 2:40 p.m. on southbound County Highway 322.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2014 Dodge Dart lost control for still unknown reasons, veered off the left side of the roadway, and rolled over.
Moreover, Survival Flight airlifted the driver of the vehicle, identified as 38-year-old Odom, to Regional One Health in Memphis with serious injuries. Then, Medic One transported a passenger of the vehicle, identified as 42-year-old Plunk, to Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the Missouri State Highway Patrol continued investigating the crash.
