ARLINGTON, TX (November 17, 2024) – Saturday morning, authorities arrested Thomas Kelly Jr after a fatal motorcycle crash on 2700 North Collins Street.

The incident happened at around 1:07 a.m. in the 2700 block of North Collins Street.

According to the Arlington Police, a northbound truck that was weaving in and out of lanes while passing other drivers swerved into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a southbound motorcycle.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 55-year-old motorcyclist, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, officers arrested the driver of the truck, identified as 27-year-old Kelly Jr. for intoxication manslaughter, collision involving death, and tampering, the release states.
