1 Hospitalized after Shoreline Car Accident
SHORELINE, WA (September 11, 2019) – A thief sustained injuries after crashing a stolen flatbed truck on 8th Avenue on September 9.
The thief tried to break into some other car near the 18500 block of 8th Avenue NE. He then stole a flat-bed truck instead and fled.
However, he crashed into a few cars after driving a few blocks north. He then drove off the road and struck some trees near North City Elementary School.
Deputies arrested the suspect and transported him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police did not release any other information at this time. However, an investigation is ongoing.
