Female Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle near Hesperia Road
HESPERIA, CA (November 7, 2018) – A woman was killed early Wednesday morning following a pedestrian crash near K&G Liquor. The victim was later identified as Thea Fracasse Payne. Her age and place of residence were not disclosed to the public.
As per reports, the incident took place near the intersection of Eucalyptus Street and Hesperia Road, at about 1:19 AM. A pedestrian was walking in the southbound lane when she was struck by a gray 2006 BMW 750i.
Payne suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. Meanwhile, the unidentified driver of the BMW remained on site and cooperated with investigators.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fatal crash and to identify possible contributing factors.
