Police Investigate Fatal Head-On Crash on Ruthrauff Road in Tucson
Tucson, AZ (December 4, 2023) – On Saturday morning, 72-year-old Terry Garmon died in a head-on crash on Ruthrauff Road.
Reportedly, on Nov. 25, a head-on collision on the Northwest side of Tucson claimed the life of a 72-year-old man.
The man, identified as Terry Garmon, was driving an eastbound Honda SUV on Ruthrauff Road, near North La Cholla Blvd, around 11:30 a.m., when he veered into the opposite lane and crashed into a Ford F-250, a press release from Pima County Sheriff’s Department stated.
The occupants of the truck suffered minor injuries. Garmon was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation. No signs of speeding or impairment were found.
