1 Person Hospitalized in Wenatchee Traffic Accident on State Route 243 near Crab Creek Bridge
WENATCHEE, WA (July 25, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, Terri Haupt-Davis sustained injuries in a crippling head-on crash on State Route 243.
The incident happened around 5:15 p.m. on State Route 243 near Crab Creek Bridge.
According to reports, a southbound 18-wheeler crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a 2018 Subaru Forrester.
Moreover, responders airlifted the driver of the Subaru, identified as 70-year-old Haupt-Davis, to Confluence Health Hospital Central Campus with unknown injuries. Also, authorities reported the driver of the semi, identified as 39-year-old Navdeep Jhajj of Surrey, was not hurt in the collision.
Furthermore, the crash closed SR 243 but has long since reopened.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
