McLaren Sports Car Found Abandoned after Crashing into Tree near Vineland Avenue
STUDIO CITY, CA (October 9, 2018) – A vehicle was found abandoned early Tuesday morning following a suspected hit-and-run crash near Vineland Avenue. Authorities later confirmed that the wrecked car was registered to 36-year-old Terrence Jenkins, a former E! News host.
As per reports, the incident took place at about 12:30 AM in the 11000 block of Ventura Boulevard. A McLaren sports car sheared a parking meter and set off a fire hydrant before crashing into a tree. A nearby business also had their window smashed in the incident.
Jenkins and the woman driving the sports car left the scene in an Uber vehicle. It is unknown whether or not they suffered injuries in the crash.
Earlier reports stated that the female driver was Jenkins’ long-term girlfriend, Jasmine Sanders. However, the model’s representative later issued a statement saying that Sanders was not in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and to identify possible contributing factors. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
