19-Year-Old Woman Killed in Doyle Pedestrian Accident on Highway 395

 
DOYLE, CA (July 6, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, a deadly pedestrian crash on Highway 395 involved Terrance Huff.
 
The incident occurred when 65-year-old Terrance Huff of Zephyr Cove drove a 2006 Winnebago. Huff traveled at a speed of approximately 60 mph south on Highway 395. Meanwhile, the pedestrian walked south along the centerline of the highway.
 
Then, due to the curve of the road and limited visibility, Huff thought the pedestrian walked on the opposite shoulder. As Terrance Huff approached closer, they found out that the pedestrian stood on the centerline of the highway.
 
Huff applied his brakes and tried to avoid the woman. However, she suddenly went into the path of the Winnebago, hitting the right front.
 
As a result, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene. At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the victim’s identity due to pending family notification.
 
Meanwhile, Huff and his passenger suffered no injuries in the crash.
