Teen Boy in Critical Condition after Multi-Vehicle Crash near 12th Street in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (September 30, 2021) – Thursday morning, several teens sustained injuries after a multi-vehicle crash near 12th Street and Union Hills Road.

The multi-vehicle crash in Phoenix happened at around 7:30 a.m. on September 30.

Phoenix Police said the crash involved three vehicles. A silver car was headed northbound on 12th Street when the driver tried to make a right turn onto Union Hills but crashed into a black car as they were making a wide turn, causing a crash with a third vehicle.

 A teen boy needed to be pulled out of the car. EMS took him to the hospital in critical condition. Two other teen girls are in the hospital and now in stable condition.

Moreover, an unknown fourth person reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries. 

No other information is immediately available.
