1 Dead in Sacramento Car Crash on Sunnyvale Avenue
SACRAMENTO CA (March 16, 2020) – A 14-year-old boy died in a car crash on Sunnyvale Avenue on the afternoon of March 13.
According to officials, the incident occurred at about 3:15 p.m. on Sunnyvale Avenue and Becerra Way, near Mira Loma High School in Sacramento County.
“The 14-year old jumped on the hood of an Infinity Coupe being driven by a 17-year-old male juvenile traveling westbound on Sunnyvale Avenue,” the CHP revealed. “The 14-year-old juvenile later came off the hood and was subsequently hit by the Infinity.”
The authorities declared that the young boy died at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene with the police.
The collision is still being investigated. The California Highway Patrol also ruled out drugs and alcohol as a factor in the collision.
