16-Year-Old Girl Struck by Vehicle near Frontier High School
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 4, 2018) – A teenage girl was injured Thursday morning following a pedestrian crash on Allen Road. The identity of the 16-year-old victim was not disclosed to the public.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the young victim was struck by a Dodge Ram truck in the student parking lot of Frontier High School. Events leading up to the collision were not immediately available.
The pedestrian suffered moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment and medical evaluation. Updates on her current medical condition were not immediately released. Meanwhile, the 16-year-old girl driving the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
