19-Year-Old Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Head-On Crash with Vehicle near Palomar College
SAN MARCOS, CA (June 18, 2018) – A teenager was hospitalized Monday afternoon following a motorcycle collision on West Mission Road, early Monday afternoon. near Palomar College.
The crash took place shortly before 12:30 PM near Palomar College, between a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle and a 1990 Lexus. The vehicle pulled directly into the 19-year-old motorcyclist’s path from a turn lane at Knoll Road.
Medics transported the injured motorcyclist to a nearby hospital, where it was confirmed that he sustained serious but non-life-threatening trauma. His current medical condition has not yet been released. No other injuries were reported by the authorities.
An investigation is ongoing to determine who was at fault for the accident and what possible factors might have contributed to the incident. No additional information has not been disclosed to the public at this time.
