1 Hurt in Tacoma Pedestrian Crash on Yakima Avenue
TACOMA, WA (July 26, 2020) – Early Saturday morning, a teenager sustained injuries in an auto accident on Yakima Avenue.
According to reports, a man runs over a teenager after 1:30 a.m. in the 5900 block of Yakima Avenue near 59th Street.
The police revealed that three teens walked down the street when a male driver of a PT Cruiser pulled over. Then, he accused the teenagers of beating up his brother. The teenagers denied his allegations.
Afterward, the driver went out of his car and the confrontation took place. Then, the man jumped into his car and struck one of the teens. He then escaped the crash scene.
Meanwhile, responders transported the injured teen to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The authorities described the man as “white, bald and between the age of 50 and 60.”
