Teenager Critical after Car Crash on Pillsbury Road near Woodward Avenue [Manteca, CA]

MANTECA, CA (August 13, 2019) – A teenage driver is in critical condition after a car crash on Pillsbury Road on August 8.
 
According to Manteca police officers, he crashed into a wall. After that, the teen struck a parked truck and then crashed int a family’s garage. In addition, the incident happened about 5:00 a.m. on Pillsbury Road near Woodward Avenue.
 
Sgt. Joshua Sweeten revealed that a 16-year-old boy drove the Toyota Camry.
 
“Our major investigation team does a complete investigation to determine the cause of the collision,” Sgt. Sweeten added.
 
According to Sweeten, the teenager drove at a high speed on Pillsbury Road when he went through a masonry wall near Woodward Avenue. Investigators found debris from the wall 150 feet away.
 
The car then struck the white truck and crashed into the garage.
 
The Manteca Police Department is currently investigating the collision.
