Teenage Pedestrian Hospitalized in Santa Clarita Collision
Santa Clarita, CA (February 04, 2022) – On Tuesday, officers arrested 43-year-old Summer Wilson of Santa Clarita in a hit-and-run crash on Bouquet Canyon Road injuring a teenage pedestrian.
The accident happened at about 7:40 a.m. at the intersection with David Way.
“It was reported that a white Ford Excursion hit a pedestrian and left in an unknown direction,” says Deputy Natalie Arriaga. “Deputies were able to locate the vehicle a short period later and detained a female adult pending investigation.”
The emergency responders took the injured teenager to a local hospital for sustaining moderate injuries.
Later on, the officers arrested Wilson on felony charges of a hit-and-run causing injury or death. The officers released her on a citation the following day.
Officers are still investigating this incident.
